Shoplifter targeted John Lewis in Cheltenham for high value perfumes

Summary

A shoplifter who targeted John Lewis in Cheltenham and stole more than £500 worth of perfume from the store has been bailed to await sentence at the town’s magistrates court. Nicola Page, 39, of Merriville Road, Cheltenham, pleaded guilty to four shoplifting offences committed between March and July last year.

Details

On March 28, 2025, she stole £108 worth of perfume from John Lewis; on June 19 she walked out of the store with another £190 worth of scent and on July 17 she took three bottles of Gucci perfume priced at £241.20. She also stole £23.92 worth of washing products from B&M Home Store in Tewkesbury Road on July 4, 2025.

The magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report on Page and made it a condition of her bail that she lives and sleeps each night at her home address. She will be sentenced on August 24.
