Former BBC Radio Gloucestershire presenter Mark Cummings launched his second book with a party at Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium. About 60 friends, family and former BBC Radio Gloucestershire colleagues attended the launch of ‘More Adventures in Glorious Gloucestershire’, a follow-up to his popular first book, ‘Glorious Gloucestershire’ which has sold thousands of copies.

Readers can follow in the footsteps of local celebrities such as Lewis Ludlow, Jack Russell, Eddie the Eagle Edwards, Katie Ford and Adam Henson who share their favourite walks. “We have a chapter about the healing powers of Gloucestershire,” said Mark.
“There’s something about the Gloucestershire landscape that naturally heals and it doesn’t have to be the glamour spots – the Stroud Valleys, the Cotswold Hills, the Forest of Dean.

Mark added: “I’m really proud of the book because it’s different but the same and it seems to be doing really well. I’ve loved writing it. It’s been great.” He thanked everyone for attending the launch party and paid particular tribute to his wife, Jo, for her help in editing the book.
