Biker dies in Cotswolds crash

Summary
A motorcyclist has died following a crash in the Cotswolds. Police officers were called to the A429 Fosseway, near The Old Prison in Northleach, at around 4.40pm on Wednesday, August 12. The crash involved a green-and-black Kawasaki ZX900 motorcycle, a white Scania tipper lorry and a grey Nissan Juke.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the motorcycle rider, a man in his 40s from the Cotswolds, was treated by paramedics but died from his injuries. His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. The A429 from the Northleach Roundabout to the Old Prison Crossroads was closed while a collision investigation took place and has since reopened.
