Cyclist seriously hurt in crash as car towing caravan flees scene

The driver of the car did not stop and had left the scene by the time police arrived. The cyclist was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. They remain in hospital at this time.
Police said it continues to investigate the incident and is appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
