There are almost 2,000 properties without electricity in Cheltenham this morning (Saturday, June 27). National Grid said the power cut was first reported at 10.37am this morning and engineers have been sent to fix the issue. It added there is a fault “on the high voltage power lines” which has left much of the community without power.

Details

The power cut is currently affecting 1,791 properties in the GL53 area. GloucestershireLive was told a Sainsbury’s store, a Co-op and a pharmacy are affected and without power. The power cut is expected to be resolved by 12.30pm.
