Summary
Police have issued an update after three men were arrested in connection with a burglary at a home in a village near Cheltenham . The incident happened at around 4.30pm in Didbrook on Saturday, April 18. Gloucestershire Police said a member of the public called the force and provided a description of the vehicle, including the registration.
Details
It was established that the Skoda vehicle was being driven on false plates. Specialist Operations determined the vehicle’s actual registration plate and later found it with three men inside. There was a police chase before the men jumped out, with one of the men being arrested near the vehicle by a police dog and its handler.
The other two men ran into a field before being detained with the help of the National Police Air Service. One of the men was found hiding in a ledge. The three men, aged 18, 19 and 49, were all arrested on suspicion of burglary and failing to stop.
