Woman has clump of hair pulled out in Cheltenham Festival attack

Summary
Two women attacked another woman during the Gold Cup at Cheltenham Festival. It was reported that the two women, believed to be mother and daughter, attacked a woman in her 20s by pulling out a clump of her hair and hitting her repeatedly around the head during the incident on Friday, March 13. The attack took place in the women’s toilet at the Evesham Road site at around 1.10pm.

The two women were then escorted from the racecourse by security guards, Gloucestershire Police said. Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information and have shared images of two women they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. One of the women was described as being in her 50s, with long straight blonde hair just below shoulder length.
She was wearing a black and white tweed cape-style coat, a black top, black tights and black knee-length boots. The second woman was described as being in her 20s, with long curly blonde hair. She was wearing a fluffy brown coat and knee-high heeled boots.
