Summary
Wingstop, the fast-expanding chicken restaurant chain which arrived at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham last year, has partnered with same-day delivery platform Gophr to support its events, hospitality and marketing operations nationwide.
Details
The partnership sees Gophr provide on-demand delivery support for Wingstop’s marketing and events teams, collecting freshly prepared food from the 95 UK restaurant locations and delivering it directly to customers’ premises for activations, events and hospitality experiences.
These activities, including pop-ups and community activations, often require deliveries at short notice and to precise schedules, particularly during the busy summer season. Through its technology-enabled nationwide courier network, Gophr helps ensure that food arrives quickly and reliably, allowing customers and guests to enjoy the same quality of experience they would expect at a Wingstop restaurant.
The partnership also gives Wingstop the flexibility to coordinate deliveries from locations across the country, with real-time tracking and dedicated support providing end-to-end visibility for time-sensitive logistics.
Melanie Nyambura, events and activations co-ordinator at Monroe MGMT on behalf of Lemon Pepper Holdings (operator of Wingstop) , said: “Events and hospitality activity play an important role in how people experience the Wingstop brand beyond our restaurants. It could be in the form of customer events, media activations or pop-ups. Whatever it is, the experience starts long before somebody takes their first bite.
“We needed a delivery partner that could match the pace at which our teams operate and help us maintain the standards people expect from the brand.
Gophr gives us the confidence to execute activity across the country, knowing deliveries will arrive when and where they’re needed.” Claire Mullarkey, National Business Development Manager at Gophr , said: “Delivering freshly prepared food for events and activations comes with a unique set of challenges. Timings are often tight, plans can change quickly, and the product itself leaves very little room for error.
“Our role is to remove that complexity from the process. By combining nationwide coverage with real-time visibility and on-demand capacity, we’re helping the Lemon Pepper Holdings team focus on delivering great brand experiences, rather than worrying about the logistics behind them.”
