Construction begins on new homes in Gotherington

Cllr Smith was welcomed to the site by representatives from Lioncourt Homes: Colin Cole, CEO; Danny Tunstall, construction director; Ian Huxstep, area build manager; and Dan Ward, site manager, who guided her through the plans for the development after she put the first spade in the ground.
Set just outside the renowned Cotswolds National Landscape at the south-eastern edge of Gotherington, The Furrows will deliver a collection of 45 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, each designed to combine the area’s character with contemporary interiors and a high-specification finish throughout.
The development has been deliberately planned to respond to its natural surroundings, and will include wildflower meadows, new hedgerows and an orchard of apple and pear trees, forming part of an extensive area of green space to its east.
The Furrows marks a fresh chapter for Lioncourt Homes, with the homebuilder elevating its specification in line with the needs of the local market, with a signature collection of homes for home seekers drawn to village life within easy reach of Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
