Churchdown resident drove while more than five times limit

A 34-year-old Churchdown woman has admitted driving while more than five times over the legal alcohol limit. Charmaine Farmer, 34, of Grenville Close, Churchdown, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court to driving a BMW car in Essex Close, Churchdown, on February 6, this year, with 179 mcgs of alcohol on her breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
Details
Farmer was banned from driving for three years, fined £761 and ordered to abstain from alcohol for 90 days. She must also take part in up to ten rehabilitation activity days. She was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
