William Keeling, 22, is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 17 charged with wounding, possession of a bladed article and common assault. It comes after reports a man stabbed another man in a car park on Rodney Road at around 6am on Thursday, July 16.

Gloucestershire Police say the victim remains in a stable but serious condition in hospital. Keeling, of Springbank, has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrate’s court later today.
