A 38-year-old Cheltenham man has been remanded in custody to await jury trial on thirteen indecency charges which include an allegation that he arranged or facilitated the rape of a child. Thomas Wright, 38, of Waterloo Street, Cheltenham, is also accused of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and distributing indecent images of children.

He is further alleged to have possessed extreme porn involving sexual intercourse with animals and to have made or possessed numerous indecent images of children in all three categories of seriousness. The alleged offences are all said to have taken place in Cheltenham between August 4 and October 20, this year.
