A mum from Gloucester repeatedly sent threatening messages to her ex-partner and threatened to ‘chop him up’, a court heard. Lianne Hudson appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced for five counts of breaching a non-molestation order against an ex-partner with whom she shares three children.

The 39-year-old had pleaded guilty at the same court on August 10 to three breaches of the non-molestation order, which was served against her in family court in May 2026. The order called for Hudson not harass or pester the man.
But the court heard she made contact with him on three separate occasions on July 7, 8 and 9, sending him messages calling him a ‘vile waste of oxygen’, and tagging him in Facebook posts calling him ‘unhinged’.
At Gloucester Crown Court on September 1, Hudson, a former nurse, also pleaded guilty to a further two breaches of the non-molestation order, admitting to contacting her victim a number of times between Thursday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 28, as well as between Friday, July 24 and Monday, July 27.
The case was then referred back to magistrates for sentencing – where the court heard that on July 23, Hudson had sent a voice note to her ex-partner’s friend threatening to ‘chop up’ the victim.
And the following day, July 24, she reportedly made threats on her Facebook account, writing: “I will chop him up in my kitchen, I’m sat here waiting for him”, and “You’d better watch yourself, I’ve got nothing to lose, I’m coming.” Also during this period, Hudson had followed the victim by car to the railway station, the court heard – and he took two photos of her in her vehicle, later saying he had “no idea how she knew where I was”.
Hudson, of Robinswood Gardens in Gloucester, was sentenced by magistrates to a one-year community order, which must be completed by September 9, 2027, and was ordered to undertake 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
She must also complete 12 months of mental health treatment as a non-resident, and is excluded from entering a specified address in Gloucester for a period of six months, until March 10, 2027, by way of an electronic monitor. Hudson must pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a victim surcharge of £114.
