During a sold-out day of celebrations, FlyUp hosted a dual slalom race and a dirt jump jam, while Muc-Off ran a bike maintenance tent to share their expertise with attendees. Newly crowned Downhill World Cup winner Hattie Harnden joined ex-Downhill and Enduro world champion Tracy Moseley in leading a social ride to welcome riders to the bike park.
With more people than ever keen to ride on the day of this special event, the 417 Bike Park ran a record number of buses and trailers on their regular Uplift service, taking riders and their bikes back to the top of the hill. Director Angela Ruskin said: “Reaching such a huge milestone here at 417 Bike Park is a moment we could only dream of for so long.

The bike park has grown enormously over the last ten years and we enter our second decade with not only a facility that’s in incredible shape, but with lots of exciting plans for the future. “Our community came together to celebrate our first decade the best way we know how: riding, racing and supporting one another.
Our biggest thanks go to our loyal team and riders – they are the ones who make this park what it is.” The bike park features an expansive network of progressive trails, ranging from the most accessible flowing blue trails for newcomers, to technical red trails and extreme black trails for the most experienced riders.
