An advanced notice sign said businesses on Montpellier Walk would be trading as normal while filming takes place between August 2 and 7. It is unclear whether any of the show’s stars are in Cheltenham but the areas involved have been transformed into an 1800s style set.
Horses and vehicles from that era have been seen. Motive Pictures (YS2) Ltd, the film production company behind the series, had applied to use 77 Promenade as a filming location for the Victorian-era TV show. It said in a planning statement: “The property has been selected to represent the Eaton Square residence of one of the principal characters within the Victorian period drama.
