Woman trapped in car near luxury Cotswolds hotel

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said one woman was trapped by the collision and needed to be freed from her vehicle, while the occupants of the other vehicles had already gotten out. A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said at the time: “Emergency services are at the scene of a collision on the B4362 in Southam near Cheltenham.
Police were called at around 10.50am with a report of a collision involving three vehicles near Old Road.” Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 10.56am to reports of a collision involving three vehicles. “Three fire engines were sent to the scene, two from Cheltenham and one from Winchcombe. One woman needed to be extricated from her vehicle.

The others were out on arrival. “The stop time was 12.26pm. Police and ambulance services were also in attendance.” The road reopened by around 2pm on Thursday.
