An elderly man was punched to the ground during an attack in Cheltenham. The victim, a man in his 70s, was attacked on Montpellier Parade. He suffered a headache and discomfort eating, police said.

Officers are now appealing for help from the public to identify the man pictured below in connection to the attack. The man is believed to have information which may assist the investigation. Gloucestershire Police said: “A man in his 70s was punched to the floor by another man at around 7pm on Thursday 16 April on Montpellier Parade.
