Andrew’s family has been informed. Gloucestershire Police have released a statement. It says: “A body has been found during searches for a man who had been reported missing from the Staverton area of Cheltenham last week.
“Searches had been taking place to find 62-year-old Andrew, and a body was located on Old Gloucester Road yesterday afternoon, Sunday 3 May. “Andrew’s family has been informed.
His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and a file will be prepared for the coroner.” Officers have thanked all of those who were involved in searches, including colleagues from the Severn Area Rescue Association, as well as everyone who shared the appeal to try and locate Andrew or called in with information or potential sightings.
“Our thoughts remain with the Andrew’s family at this time,” concluded the police statement.
