A woman in her 30s has tragically died following a collision with a bus in Cheltenham last month. The incident occurred on Prestbury Road, near the junction with Whaddon Road, around 8:50 am on Monday, 16 March.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and the cyclist was seriously injured. She was initially taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital but later transferred to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for further treatment. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday, 7 April.
The victim’s identity has not been publicly released, but Gloucestershire Police have confirmed that her family is receiving support from specially trained officers. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for any witnesses or those with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
