Cheltenham Science Festival Unveils 2026 Programme Exploring the Power of Science

The annual Cheltenham Science Festival is set to return in 2026 with a diverse lineup of over 100 events that will transform the town into a hub for curious minds. The festival programme, announced by Cheltenham Festivals, will feature talks, demonstrations, and workshops spanning a wide range of scientific disciplines, as well as topics such as sports, wellbeing, technology, AI, finance, and politics.

As part of the festival’s new “The Next Chapter” initiative, the event will focus on the power of storytelling to shape our collective futures across Cheltenham Festivals’ Science, Music, Jazz, and Literature programmes. Visitors can look forward to exploring cutting-edge science in the Discover Zone, getting creative in the MakerShack, and tackling cryptic challenges in The Arcade.

Ticket booking for Cheltenham Festivals Members opens on Wednesday, 15 April, with general booking becoming available on Wednesday, 22 April. The full festival programme is now available on the Cheltenham Festivals website.
