The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival has concluded its 2025 edition, marking a landmark year with record-breaking ticket sales and reaffirming the enduring popularity of literature festivals. Over ten vibrant days, the world’s longest-running literature festival continued to lead the way in celebrating the written and spoken word.

This year, the festival put a special spotlight on the world of comics, with award-winning children’s illustrator Jamie Smart serving as the very first Guest Curator for Comics. Smart packed the programme with a range of events showcasing the joy and creativity of the medium.
