The Coach House

The Coach House combines comfort with modern essentials so that our guests have everything they need for a restful evening and a good night’s sleep, the most important things after a busy day of sightseeing, business meetings, school visits, shopping or all of the above. Available for Gold Cup Week – 4 night minumum booking – £1800.

If you are driving to Cheltenham, we are easy to find and there is space for guests to park 2 cars on our drive outside the Coach House. Alternatively, we are a 10 minute drive from the train and bus stations.

When you enter the Coach House there is space to hang your coats and you turn right into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with over/grill, fridge and freezer, washing machine and microwave. There is also an iron, ironing board and clothes drying rack for your exclusive use. We will provide you with Nespresso coffee machine pods, tea and hot chocolate along with fresh milk and bread, butter and condiments. For guests staying for 2 nights or more, there will be a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge.

You will find the kitchen fully equipped for most meal preparation. All of our tableware is Emma Bridgwater and most of the cooking equipment is brand new. If you are missing something – just ask. For example, I can source a highchair and baby feeding equipment easily if you need it.

You can dine casually at the breakfast bar or more formally at the table which seats 4 adults. If you are staying with an extra child, we can bring in another chair or highchair. The sitting room is comfortable and cosy with a three seater sofa and separate armchair. There are throws and cushions and a TV and DVD player. You will have access to freeview TV channels and free WIFI throughout the Coach House. We have many DVDs and board games which you are welcome to use and I can put some toys in for babies and children of appropriate age if you let me know in advance. There is a downstairs loo accessed off the living room.

We have designed the Coach House to be a home from home but with some added luxurious touches. Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The beds are both kingsize with mattress toppers to sink into and freshly ironed Eygyptian cotton linens. The towels and bathmats are also Eygyptian cotton and we provide quality bodywash, shampoo and conditioner in the ensuite showers. The beds have bedside tables and lamps at each side and there is storage for clothes in chests of drawers and hangers on the back of the bedroom doors. In bedroom 2 there is a desk and chair if you need to switch on the laptop. There is also a hairdryer.
